A great place to relax and enjoy the Yukon wilderness comfortably. The guest cabin is very cosy and complete with everything you could want to cook your own meal and the breakfast served in the morning was tasty and imaginative. It had the most interesting and comfortable outdoor toilet we have ever been in. Complete with tiffany lamp and reading material and old photos. No smell - really! Suzanne and Rob were perfect hosts, accompanying us on a hike, but leaving us to our own to relax. We loved eating lunch in the spacious green house and enjoying the authentic wood sauna. But 'Retreat' is perhaps the best word for this place. It's a great place to get away to soothe the soul and restore the creative juices, catch up on reading and contemplation. There's a wonderful writing desk in the cabin placed in front of a window with a stunning view and a book shelf of the most interesting titles. We were fortunate in having a calm enough lake to do some canoeing - a very memorable stay, and we hope to be back.

The guest cabin was better than home. We wanted to unpack our bags and move right in.... forever! Exploring the property turned up one creative surpise after another and we took advantage of them all - from the yurt, to the tree fort, sauna, greenhouse and The Curiosity Shop. Suzanne's journal making workshop was very inspiational. Suzanne also took us hiking and canoeing to experience Crag Lake in all its' glory. We fell asleep waiting to be awoken to the sound of warm tasty muffins being hoisted to the porch. The only unfortunate thing about our stay was that we had to leave!

You certainly made me feel like Home and provided an inspiring retreat to complete the book about my journey north. Good to be around roamers…

We have so enjoyed our “tucked away, off the beaten path” of your very delightful retreat,
a smile everywhere from “watch yer noggin” to the Wishing Bench – colours – vibrant – the pulley and the basket,
to the interior Laundry Room door! Thank you so much for your lovely hospitality; 1.5 days is too short;
barely time to relax after the effort of packing for a trip. Food exquisite! We leave with more than we came pound wise…

The visits, the hike, the quilt – your openness, all so refreshing. Thank you, thank you.
