Hiking
Local trails: The short loop trail is a 2.5 km hike following the lake part way and comes to rest at a rustic bench by the water. The Old Trappers Cabin Trail (also known as the long loop) is a 5 km hike along mostly level ground, partly along the lake. The cabin dates back to the 1930’s and is photogenic as well. In summer, fields of arnica, wild delphiniums and lupines are abundant on these moderately easy trails.
